I grew up always surrounded by pets & I have spent my entire life looking after dogs. I moved to London a couple of years ago & have been borrowing local dogs to walk/sit ever since as I missed having a dog around all of the time! I've always owned spaniels, but have since looked after a huge variety of other dogs - my flatmate and I have now adopted a cat, so I wouldn't be able to host a dog here anymore (though we might be able to have other feline friends come over!), but I would be happy to dog-sit in your house/take your dog out for walks :)

Sophie watched Rory while we were away for a long weekend. She was super communicative and kept us well updated. Rory was very at ease with her and clearly sad to see her leave upon our return. Would definitely recommend and book again!
Olive my 4 month old kitten loved Sophie and snuggled up to her so quickly. She regularly sent updates and pics and I felt comfort knowing Olive was with her. Will definitely be rebooking in the future! :)
Otis had an awesome weekend with Sophie, they hit it off straight away and enjoyed lots of adventures and gun dog training in the Olympic park together. She has a very calm and reassuring presence which he clearly picked up on too. We came back to a clean and tidy flat and a happy and content doggo. Superstar! Sophie took care of our 1.5 year old Shih Tzu for us whilst we had a long weekend in Edinburgh. We met with Sophie at the local park before she accepted the booking to make sure both her and Wiggles were happy with each other. From there, we then met again shortly before our trip to show Sophie our house and exchange keys. Sophie was very professional throughout and was very confident. Sophie shared many updates with us and some cute photos too, whilst asking more questions when needed on how best to take care of Wiggles. We felt completely at ease knowing Sophie was taking care of our boy. She even brought Wiggles with her to meet a friend at the weekend, so it was lovely knowing Sophie had included Wiggles with her plans! (She had even searched for local dog-friendly places to eat). When we arrived home, the house was kept clean and tidy. Wiggles was very happy to see us, but did seem to search for Sophie too! We'll definitely book with her again, and would recommend her for your bookings too.

I am unable to have dogs in my flat for a significant length of time due to our cat, but I would be happy to come to your house if we meet first in advance :) for cats, it would still probably be best if I could come to your house rather than the other way around, but please message me and we can discuss!

A typical day
I love playing games with the dogs I watch. I am a big walker (with or without a dog) and love to go for long walks both near me (e.g Victoria Park, The Olympic Park, Hackney Marshes, Limehouse) and all around London, if your dog is happy to travel on the overground with me (I've taken other dogs to Greenwich, Hampstead Heath & Epping Forest so far)

Availability
I work full-time, but I am only in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so if you live locally, I might be able to help out on the other weekdays for an hour or two. I am mostly free at the weekends, and I love going for really long walks & exploring new areas in London - I'd be willing to travel a little bit further if you are looking for a weekend walker! I will need at least a couple of days' notice, but as far in advance as possible would be great
