I have had dogs in my family throughout my time growing up. I am very comfortable around dogs and taking care of them. I have years of experience, I am comfortable cleaning up their messes and taking care of them when they are ill. I absolutely love playing with dogs and giving them the love they need. I am a full time student but I am home for the summer. I nanny from 7:15am-2/5:15 depending on the day. I am willing to make my schedule fit our needs. I am a very flexible person when it comes to scheduling! Just let me know at least an hour or so in advance if you need to cancel. I also work at a dog hotel in the summer! So I am constantly around puppies whether at home or work! Thank you for your time and consideration! Sophie would be a perfect candidate to become a dog sitter. She has a love of animals, dogs in particular. Her outgoing personality is perfect for the amount of energy it may take to care for an active dog yet loves to cuddle and care for and older/calmer dog as well. She is a dog owner and misses her shih tzu terribly while away at college. She always visits the therapy dogs that are brought in to school during finals week. It truly does help with the stress! I would highly recommend Sophie for this position.

I do not have any breed preferences; however, I would like to know if they shed because I do have mild allergies to shedding pets but nothing that would prevent me from taking care of your dog. Other than that, I would like to know if I need to provide medications for your dog, any disabilities your dog may have or anything else that you consider important. No disability will deter me away from taking care of your dog, just more of a fyi, so I know that your pet may need extra care and love.
A typical day
I usually go on walks around my neighborhood with my dog back home but I am willing to take your dog(s) to dog parks, around the neighborhood and wherever else allows dogs. When I am home with my dog, I like to take her on car rides to the beach or to the park so she can play in a more open space. Also, because she loves car rides and adventures.
