I have loved being the go to pet sitter and walker for my family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. I am reliable and just love getting to spend time with animals. I have administered routine medication, and also have been working with my own dogs skin condition. I am very dependable, respectful, and responsible. I love to be early and know I can handle all animals. I have worked with animals of all ages and sizes.

We asked Sophie to watch our dog Abby on very short notice after a loved one passed. Sophie came over the day before we had to leave to meet Abby and get acquainted with our space. She had a calm reassuring presence that seemed to make Abby at ease. Sophie kept us updated while we were away and was very flexible with her time making sure to provide Abby with the care she needed while we were gone. When we came home Abby was clearly well cared for and relaxed. The house was left clean and tidy and locked up to our instructions. We will definitely call Sophie again when we go out of town and need somebody to come watch our dog.
Sophie was warm and understanding in our conversations, communicated well, and met with us and our dog before dog sitting in our house for a few days while we went away. Our dog is a large 100lbs. mixed breed rescued from a shelter and we have spent considerable resource and time in training and reconstructed his behaviors. Sophie jumped right in and was able to keep our anxious dog calm and engaged. When we returned home, our dog was calm, well behaved, and did not lose sight of his training--often when we board him at higher end facilities he returns anxious and needs retrained upon our return. Sophie was very willing to also help take care of some of my kids' fishtanks and communicated effectively via text while we were away to troubleshoot anything that came up with our dog or our house. She is highly trustworthy, excellent with dogs, and makes you feel very comfortable leaving your home and dog in skilled and responsible hands. We hope to rely on Sophie for future trips so our dog has a loving and wonderful companion while we are away. Highly recommend Sophie!!
Sophie is a very kind and caring young lady! Our dogs and cat love her very much! This is the first time we’ve had a dog walker or dog/cat sitter and we were a little bit worried because they’re bigger dogs. She did an amazing job! We felt totally comfortable with her staying in our home and taking care of our babies!

Availability
I am currently a full time student, but most of my classes are online. I have a pretty flexible Monday through Friday schedule. I am unavailable Thursdays from 4:30pm until 8:30pm, Saturdays from 7:30am until 6pm, and I am completely unavailable on Sundays. I can make most things work and am will to discuss scheduling!
