Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner of both cats and dogs all my life, and love both, in all shapes and sizes! I love to take care of them, play with them, and give them lots of love and attention. They are like babies to me! At home, I have a very smart, high energy Aussie-Border Collie mix who is the love of my life, and a new addition Manecoon kitten who is quite the handful, but we love him, of course. I have been a sitter for many friends and neighborhood families and have always had positive experiences with the families and their pets. I am a runner and would love to run with your dog! I have an extensive knowledge of all the pet-friendly parks and trails, for my own dog at home is quite the adventurer herself. I also have experience with both puppies and seniors. I have experience giving medication and taking special care of senior pets.

Sophie is great with pets. Not only does she take good care of her own sweet puppy, Lucy, but she has also taken care of my two kittens, Tink and Tilly, while my family has been out of town. Sophie has fed my cats and played with them throughout our vacations. They have even fallen asleep on her lap, knowing she is a safe person to snuggle up against!

A typical day
I am always happy to stay in your neighborhood for a walk. I understand that your dog may feel more comfortable with staying near home, especially at first! Depending on what your dog prefers, we can also frequent the dog park, or stick to the regular walking trails. My favorite dog park to take my own dog to is the PetSafe Park on Northshore Drive, in the Concord Area. Other great and safe places for walking are Lakeshore Park and Sequoyah Park.
