I grew up around all sorts of animals and was given responsibilities to care and train my pets early on at around 7 years old (benefits of having a Russian mother). Over the years, this has evolved into sharing my intuitive connection with animals through horse-back competitions, volunteering at the humane society, and training my cat and dog to be completely off-leash (yep, you read that right. I walk around the neighborhood with my cat and dog trailing me 😆). I love picking up on animals' quirks and speaking their language, whether that means more/less cuddles, roughhousing, tonality, etc. I nerd out over animal body language and attribute many of my skills to Zak George as well as the book series "The Dog/Puppy Whisperer: A Compassionate, Nonviolent Approach to Dog Training."
