About me: I enjoy the presence of animals & love spending time with them! I'm a former dog owner & have a flexible part-time online job, so I have lots of time to engage & take care of your beloved pet! I care for the pets I watch as if they are my own. I've been taking care of animals for 6 years over 1.5 years on Rover. My Furry experience: Dogs: Lots of different breeds, small to medium size, active to lap dogs, enjoy playing, walking, cuddling Senior Dogs: giving medications, extra care & attention, taken care of many senior dogs, including my former dog Cat Care: from hair brushing to playing with the cat wand etc Senior Cats: have given liquid medication or medication in food Puppy & Kitten Care: since being on Rover have taken care of a handful of puppies & kittens :) from watching for a few hours, to overnight care. High Quality Care & Communication: Your pet isn't treated like a number. I understand that it can be difficult to be away from your beloved pet(s). Effective Communicator: You will receive detailed updates of your pet's activities & care, (I'm a counselor at my day job) so I will always ask for clarification or additional questions if needed to ensure your pet gets the care that they need. Able to send updates at your preferred frequency. EXTRA PERKS for hiring me as your pet sitter Your pet can stay in the comfort of their own home and stick to their normal routine. I have a flexible work schedule, so I do my best to shift to your pet's daily routine, so that way they feel as comfortable as possible when you are away. I'm an Amateur Photographer & love capturing your pet's personality. Odds are high that you will get professional-style pics of your beloved pet(s). Many of my pet parent clients have shared that they have framed photos, & used them for holiday cards etc.

Sophia was an excellent dog sitter. She stayed in our home for over one week and tended to our senior pug. Our pug is an older dog and Sophia made the necessary adjustments to manage her very well. Sophia provided us with regular updates with lots of cute and cuddly photos. She was responsive to my specific instructions and gave our pug lots of love and care I would highly recommend her!

Basic care needs of your pet, if house sitting request, I have a car, so I like to know how parking is and prefer to have accommodations for my car if possible. I primarily housesit in San Francisco. For the right fit I will house sit in marin county or the peninsula. However, I’d require a toll bridge (if applicable) & gas stipend for driving a further distance outside the city. I used to live in San Mateo, so I enjoy taking housesitting requests around the area. P.S. I have a dust allergy, so I, unfortunately, won't be able to stay in homes with excess clutter, or older items where collected dust is.
A typical day
Fun activities I have done with the pets I have watched! *Dog walks in neighborhoods, parks, & beach. *Going to dog park. *Playing any form of fetch, engaging in dog toys, find it treat hunts I let dogs sniff all they want on walks while also being mindful of not putting anything in their mouth that shouldn't be there. If your pet is used to cuddling with you on the couch or sleeping in your bed. I'm also comfortable with that too! I can also keep them off furniture & bed too if that is the house guideline. I also like taking photos & videos, so if you want pictures/videos of your pet(s) while away, I'm happy to send you daily photos/videos if that is what you wish for at your preferred timing.
