Pet care experience
I've had pets in the house since I was born, and it hasn't stopped since then! When friends go away, they call me first to take care of their pets :) Through 1,000 hours of foster experience with the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, I'm able to care for pregnant and nursing animals as well as animals with special medical needs. I can also house train puppies, having done so at least three times!

Sophia is awesome! She is very communicative and punctual! My pups absolutely love her! They always get so excited when she watches them. During her stay she always sends updates and pictures, which I absolutely love!
Sophia was wonderful! She stayed at my house to care for my senior dog, Zeva. Zeva had a blast with Sophia! During my time away, Sophia was very communicative and sent frequent updates with pictures. I can tell my pup really enjoyed her time with Sophia too! I cannot recommend her enough. Not only did she take amazing care of Zeva but my house was spotless when I came home. I will most definitely be booking with Sophia in the future!
Sophia took great care of our boys (two cats) and snake! We received plenty of pictures so we could see their adorable faces. She bought a gift for the boys (chicken treats) that I’m sure they’ll love! Thank you for caring for our boys!

🏃♀️🏡 I enjoy running and taking walks outside in nature, so I’d love to bring a furry friend with me 😊 Pups are let out every couple of hours to work off any extra energy they may have, but it can be more or less frequently depending on what you think they might need. If your pup has a bit more energy, I’d love to take them out on a run (during the not-so-hot hours of the day)! Whatever you need, I’m happy to accommodate 🤍😁

Please let me know feeding schedule, how much exercise you notice your pup needs (so I can accommodate), their favorite toy or type of treat, and anything else you think I should know. Also, please let me know if your dog has any issues with strangers or social anxiety so I can be sure to go extra slow and make them feel comfortable!
A typical day
I love taking pups to the big dog park down the street daily to get out any extra energy and be able to get a good night’s sleep while you’re away.

I own my own business and work from home, so my availability is quite open during the week and on weekends. I’d be happy to do my work from your house when sitting, or I can use a walk or drop-in visit to get a much needed break—for me and for your pup!
