Pet care experience
Ever since I was a child, I have always had a dog in the home. I grew up with a husky, lived with a roommate's chihuahua for four years in college, and helped care for my roommates German Sheperd for three years after college. I have walked, fed, bathed, and cared for pets all my life. I have owned my current fur-baby, Penny (a cat) for five years. I love dogs of all kinds, but we travel frequently so part-time dog sitting is best for our schedule!

Sophia was awesome! She sent updates of each animal end of the day with pictures and communicated with us when appropriate. She followed all instructions and the animals were so happy with her! Highly recommend!!!

Our yard is completely fenced in, making it a perfect oasis for the animals. We have an automatic feeder and waterer for our cat, but have to fill and clean it frequently. And you can't forget the treats!

If on a walk, know how they will react to other animals. Knowing this can help me give the dog the best experience possible and keep them happy! Additionally, to keep the pet's schedule as normal as possible, knowing their routine for feeding, bathroom, and activity.
A typical day
I am an active person myself, enjoying runs, walks, and bike rides. A furry companion is always a blast to bring along! Our house is located near parks, bike trails, and beaches. We live on .3 acres, so our yard provides a lot of space for the dogs as well.
