Pet care experience
I am a responsible registered nurse working night-shift, with some day-time hours available to provide care and exercise for your dog (and/or cat)! I grew up with our family's yellow lab, Maggie, and trained her in obedience, showmanship, and agility in our county's dog 4-H club (I'm originally from Washington state!), along with our Chihuahua, Zeke. I also exercised, dog-sat, and house-sat for our neighbor and her golden retrievers, a neighbor with a blind senior pug, along with working with a variety of dog breeds in the 4-H club. If you also have cats, I have owned and cared for feline friends as well, (although I can't say I can help reinforce their obedience training!), but I am happy to care for them as well! If you are looking for someone flexible, responsive, and reliable to help with dog and/or cat care, please reach out to me. There aren't enough stars to rate how much we appreciated Sophia taking care of our cat over the holiday. She went above and beyond in making sure we knew she was in great hands with detailed updates about her visits and multiple photos per visit. We truly couldn't have found someone better for the job.
This girl is amazing. I’m so, so happy with how everything went. We didn’t have time to meet up with her before hand, it was so last minute. But she killed it. She was so easy to talk to, so understanding and did everything plus some for the cats. Sophia kept me informed the entire time and updated me on how they were doing and the progress of my sick kitty. She went above and beyond my expectations with my babies. I will 100% use her every time my husband and I go out of town if she’s available, without a doubt.

I'd like to know if they have any training you'd like me to reinforce (e.g. sitting calmly before leaving and entering your residence, any basic commands, clicker training, heeling while walking, etc). Please let me know if your dog has any quirks, or has tendencies towards being people protective, dog aggressive, or food aggressive so I can know ahead of time.
A typical day
I'm happy to help, whether that's taking your senior dog on slow walks, or an energetic dog on a fast-paced walk, whatever you need, I'm happy to accommodate it. (If you need their coat brushed/de-tangled, I can do that as well if you provide supplies).
