Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by animals since I was born. In middle school and high school I ran a petsitting business and dog treat baking business in my neighborhood. I lived in Florida for a couple years and worked as a vet tech in a small clinic there, learning all kinds of amazing skills. Before Florida, I worked for almost 2 years in the PetSmart doggie daycamp, and loved getting to play with all different breeds of dogs every day. I have spent many hours helping out at various pet facilities, such as the Oregon Humane Society, DoveLewis, and PAW Team. I love all animals, and currently have an orange fluffy cat and a maltipoo. I’m very comfortable giving any and all kinds of medications your fur babies may need, including topical, oral, or injectable. I had a dog with diabetes and a kitty with kidney disease, both of whom required a lot of medical attention at home. I’m currently enrolled full-time in the Veterinary Technology Program at PCC so I can become a Certified Veterinary Technician in June 2025. I would love to hang out with your pets! (Disclaimer: I do not sleep in clients’ homes but I go last thing before bed and first thing in the morning and spend the day there!)

I treat every pet I watch as if it were my own. I know how precious these little guys are, and work hard to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. My years of experience has made me very in tune with reading the body language of dogs/cats to know how best to work with each personality.

I always like a heads up if your pet is on any medications or special diets or has any other kind of special needs or behavioral issues. I’m comfortable watching and caring for any of these babies, but just want to be prepared beforehand so they can get the best care that they deserve.
A typical day
I love running, so if your dog has a lot of energy, I’m more than happy to take them on a run! In my studies I have learned a lot about animal enrichment and how to keep pets mentally stimulated and happy in their lives. Above all else, I love snuggles. I could sit on the couch, curled up with my pets all day and give them constant attention. I also enjoy training dogs if that’s something you’d want me to work on with your pup!
