Greetings and salutations! I’m Sophia and I’m very eager to assist you and your pets. I’m a 21 year old artist and creative with a ton of free time! I adore spending that time with animals the most. I have three kitties, three horses, and a little hairless guinea pig at home:) And during my childhood I had chickens and parrots! Last year my closest companion Bodhi, a beautiful 8-year-old Great Dane, passed away. Missing him got me hooked on this job:) Being PAID to hangout with animals?! Heaven on earth. My love for animals runs deep so being able to take care of other people's big dogs, little dogs, old dogs, and young dogs is truly a pleasure (+ kitties!!). Sophia stayed with my dogs while I was away over the Xmas holiday and I felt at ease and able to enjoy my trip knowing they were being fed, walked, and getting lots of attention.
Sophia was such a caring house sitter and was great at sending regular updates!
Sophia watched my dogs while I went overseas for 10 days and I felt relaxed knowing she was sending me pics and updates and staying the night with them. She also watered the plants and gardens and dealt with trash day and street cleaning. The boys loved her and we’d easily have her come back again the next time!
Sophia is hands down the BEST EVER! This was my first time using Rover and also the first time I’ve ever left my dog for more than a couple of days. She’s trusting and calm natured, but as a rescue, I didn’t want to board her. Sophia was so sweet to come over for a meet and greet before my trip, and of course my Golden took an immediate liking to her — wouldn’t even leave her side while she was here! She was incredibly accommodating as I ended up extending my overseas trip last minute (twice) for another week. It gave me such a sense of peace knowing my pup was in such great hands for three full weeks and I got daily updates & photos/videos of their cuddles and outings. She left my apartment cleaner than I left it, even did laundry?!? Tazzy girl loves you and I can’t wait for you to watch her again xx

I listens closely to the requests my clients have for me and I treat their pets like they would. I want the days that I spend sitting to be stress free and calm for the animals because it can be weird having a stranger in their space. I give them as much love as they want, and back off when they aren’t feeling it. I also typically will leave for 1-4 hours each day to take care of my animals at my home.

A typical day
When we walk I like to make it interesting for both me and your dog. Maybe find a park or just a patch of grass to chill out on a hot day and hangout for awhile, enjoy the day. Or just a typical walk and potty break:)

I have a really open schedule. I do this as well as a part time retail job. When I’m not pet sitting I’m with my horses or doing projects for school.
