Pet care experience
I’ve had pets since I was 5 years old. Since I was a child I’d pet sit neighbors and family’s pets. When I became a high schooler my family decided to own a small homestead. Since then, I’ve always been surrounded by animals of all sizes and shapes. A few years ago, I traveled to South Korea where I rescued a small Jindo from under a bus. She became my little baby and brought her home with me to DC. I love dogs and cats. I walk dogs more than the average person and as someone who has OCD with cleanliness, I clean cat litter boxes more than is necessary. I live with roommates that also have a dog and a cat.

Not sure why I didn't write before. Sophia is THE BEST sitter. Amelia, Fiona and Diego were so spoiled and pamper by her. She is kind and polite. Your pets will thank you and probably fall in love with her. We were confident our pets were safe with her. Thank you so much Sofia. We booked Sophia to watch our cats for a second time and she was stellar! One of them knocked a plant over and Sophia was very kind in spending time to clean it up and ensuring we didn’t have to worry about it when we arrived home.
Sophia always takes amazing care of our cat Haggis and updates us often with photos and videos :)

I have a small yard that I usually let my dog out to go potty but most of the time I take her out 6-8 times a day to go potty and give her 3 major walks that last around 45 minutes each. I find it important to exercise my dog daily and give her the opportunity to explore and meet other people and their pets. With my roommates cat, I love to play with them with their toys or just keep them company. I’m not afraid to walk my dog at night as well, I usually take my dog out for her last potty run around 10. I get up at 6:00 to take her out for her first potty run.

Please let me know if your dog has special needs or anxiety. I have a dog that has anxiety so I am well aware of how to take care of a dog that is stressed. I have taken care of senior dogs and dogs with special needs that need oral and IM medical injections. It is important to me that I know the details of taking care of your pet. I’m someone who takes great pride in making sure that the pet gets everything they need
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks and to the park. We love playing fetch, running, hiking, and smelling all smells in the park. After a long day of fun we love to cuddle and relax.

I currently work at home so I have A lot of free time to come over to walk, play, or house sit your pets. I’m available to walk your dogs up to 3-4 times a day.
