Pet care experience
I have loved dogs my whole life, grew up with dogs and in the dog business. My parents were Akita breeders, dog trainers and pet groomers. My early life was all about taking care of my family’s and our customers animals. I realized that going back to working with dogs would be much more rewarding than my current employment.

So happy that we found Sophia to care for our dog when we are away. We have always used a family member to watch our fur baby, and it can be scary looking for someone new. It’s great to know that there is Sophia, who is close by, now that the family member has moved, when we have to be away. Sophia shared pictures of Bailees great weekend away. We can tell she had a great time and was well cared for.

I have a fenced in yard and a large open clean dry basement for running and playing in bad weather. I have 2 friendly dogs that love making new friends. I have cameras set up to supervise anytime I am not home.

What is your dogs routine? How much exercise to they need? Is your dog on any medication or have any special needs? Is your dog crate trained? Do they get along with larger dogs? Are they spayed or neutered?
A typical day
On a typical day we have lots of supervised outdoor yard time. We go on walks around the neighborhood. Relax on the couch when we are tired. I like to have dogs who are used to sleeping in bed in our bed. We eat breakfast before 9 am and dinner before 7 pm.

Availability
I work 5 days a week, but I am only 8 minutes from my home. I am able to come home during my breaks. The dogs are never alone for more than 4 hours at a time. During my time away I have large comfy crates that have blankets and toys in them. I only crate for everyone’s safety. I don’t allow unsupervised interactions. Thank you for your consideration
