Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl and lots of energy for a furry friend to love while your family is away! I’ve always enjoyed going on adventures with them outside and hanging out during down time. I work from home so I’m not gone more than 4-5 hours at a time, too. Furthermore, I have plenty of experience with various dogs’ needs from having dogs for most of my life– from long walks to sticking to a feeding or medication regimen. PLEASE NOTE- if your dog barks at noises, other dogs, or people at your door, then I am not the sitter for you- I live in a townhouse and my neighbors will be affected by constant barking. Sophia came to our rescue when we needed to board Maya while we had an evening event. She was so flexible with the drop off and pick up times so that alleviated a lot of stress from us. And an even bigger perk - our senior pup Maya had a blast with her "weekend mom". She was all wiggles and showering Sophia with all the affection she can muster - which to my husband and I, always puts us at ease knowing our pup is in excellent hands with Sophia.
Sophia is AWESOME!! This is the first time our senior dog Maya got to experience being boarded so we weren't sure how she'd react. Our concerns were alleviated upon meeting Sophia. She's so laid back and Maya immediately took a shining to her. We were updated on our dog's status during the weekend (they apparently went hiking and our dog actually enjoyed it which was news to us) and Sophia's very fast with her communications whether you had a question, or if she needed additional details when taking care of our pup. When it was time for pickup, Sophia was super flexible. And methinks our dog loves her because Maya started looking for Sophia once we got home. And for my husband and I, we see that as we have found the perfect person to look after our dog. It was already a bonus that she lives nearby (yay!) but we think we found Maya's "weekend Mom" if we ever need someone to look after.
Everything went very well and it was a pleasure working with Sophia. She was very responsive and sent us updates just about every day. We felt confident in leaving our dog in Sophia's hands. Thank you and we can't wait to use your services again!

I ask that you bring whatever makes your dog most comfortable – whether it be their food bowls, beds, toys, blankets, CBD chews, etc.! I also have a guest room / office to devote to them if they have a crate or want to sleep on the guest bed.

I would like them to be house trained so we have accidents under some control. I would also like to know how old the dog is and what their usual routine is so they can be as comfortable as possible in my home. :)
A typical day
I live near a park so we will walk there or around my cute and safe neighborhood. We will also explore dog parks in the area if the owners allow socializing! :)

I wake up very early for work so I can take your pup out, I take breaks frequently to get outside already, I go on walks in the park daily! :)
