Baker and WFH partner just want your pups!
Pet care experience
I’ve been responsible for dog and cat sitting for people in and around the Bedfordshire and Yorkshire regions for years, including home visits and feeding, staying in properties whilst the owners are on holiday, and also boarding pets at my own house with my own dog. Now I’ve relocated back to my old university city where me and my partner live, and I am looking to continue to care for pets and meet some adorable pups, I am missing my family dog dearly and want to put people at ease that their own pets are being well looked after.
Reviews
Sophia was amazing with my Pomeranian pup! She met me at the door when I arrived. Introduced herself and showed how much she had for dogs straight away! She was patient with teddy as he was very shy at first but instantly showed him love and care! I was worried that she didn’t have a garden at first but I knew from updated and our chat before dropping him off that he will be let out regularly and cared for. I loved that she let him sleep with her in her bed as that’s what he does at home and would give him comfort which she said it did! She really did exceed expectations and would recommend her to everyone! I will definitely be using her again!
Sophia looked after Millie, our Labradoodle, for a night and the following day - she is very easy to deal with, welcoming to Millie and flexible over the pick-up time. Millie came home tired and happy after a day out. We'll have no hesitation asking her again.
Sophia was super friendly, communicated really clearly and consistently and she LOVED having Squirrel and my puppy came back so happy. Would definitely recommend her, she's super enthusiastic and has experience with doggos so your floof babes will be lucky to have her.

I live in a very large spacious apartment, with a large balcony. All pups are extended an invitation to sleep in the bed with us during the night, and all are welcome up on the sofa (unless of course stipulated otherwise by the owner!). We are quite organised and all pups will be fed according to owners schedules and walked around that. I have a massive family dog and have looked after several large dogs so I am also used to having larger breeds around the house as well as smaller ones too.

Information Sophia C. would like to know about your pet
For me personally, the most important information I need to know is if your dog is social with other dogs and people, if your dog has any extra medical or dietary requirements. Beyond this, all the stuff that i find important to know is the stuff that I would want prospective sitters to know about my dog to emulate the home environment best and make my dog as comfortable as possible, and also to maintain your house rules as owner within my home. These include, but are not limited to, pets on sofas/beds, feeding times, styles of play etc.
A typical day
In spite of living in the city centre, me and my boyfriend are avid countryside people and love long walks and hiking. If it’s too high octane for your dog to go on a day out with us and scale big hills in the Yorkshire dales (for example), we also frequent the Sefton coast for a slow and leisurely walk along the beach. Much like the dogs I’ve cared for, after spending a lot of time outside I love to come back, get in front of the tv and watch a film. I am also a keen cook so we are always in the living space cooking a nice dinner, or I’m curled up knitting for hours on the sofa, hopefully giving your dogs the best of both worlds!

I’m currently working very early morning shifts and I am home by lunch time. My partner works from home and will be in the home all day, including when I’m out and when I get back from work. For the few hours of morning I am out, he will be doing the breakfast feed and morning walk. Speaking from experience, I think there’s nothing more a pup loves than constant company, and our balance of the short morning shits and WFH set up is the perfect set up for your pup.
