Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my entire life from 8 week old puppies to 15 and needing senior care. Professionally, I have used other dog care apps for the last 6 years as a fun side gig for me but most importantly offering safe and loving care for a piece of your family. My partner’s family owns a dog rescue, that I have helped out at for the last 4 years offering a safe home for foster dogs who have experienced extreme abuse and neglect. As well as taking care of their rescues on site. I truly adore dogs to my core, and genuinely feel passionate about their care.

Sophia is she most fantastic rover! We felt so at ease leaving our 2 dogs and cat in her hands while we were on vacation for 10 days! The animals absolutely loved her and she gave them so much love and attention! She kept us in the loop with constant communication and pictures. I truly can’t say enough good things about Sophia. So professional and kind!

Sophia took care of our two dogs over an extended weekend and we’re so happy we found her! Sophia was very communicative and shared plenty of updates throughout their stay. Our pups seemed very happy and at ease with her, we definitely plan to rebook with Sophia!

I live in a house with a very large fenced in back yard and a beautiful neighborhood to walk around in. I have no other pets in the home but I do have toys, dog beds and proper cleaning supplies readily available. With the texas heat, I always make sure the area we are walking is not hot to the touch and if needed will wake up early or do late night walks. I also believe in leaving a house better than I walked in, I make sure that you are returning to a clean household after a trip and a well loved happy pup.

Let me know if there is any special requests for your dog or behavioral needs before I watch them so I make sure to accommodate to the fullest extent. If boarding, please make me aware before hand if the dog is not potty trained.
A typical day
I love to explore Austin and new areas. Whenever I watch dogs we will go on hours long walks just checking out new places! With a fenced in backyard, I enjoy being able to let your dog roam off leash and play lots of fetch. There are some resident squirrels who live in the backyard as well which offers hours of entertainment for both the pups and the squirrels who love to taunt them.

Availability
I am currently working from home and have complete flexibility of my own schedule. I am available morning and night week day and or weekend. I am able to take breaks in my day to provide physical activity and always introduce my pups in my meetings!
