Pet care experience
At first, dog sitting was just a side job for when I was in college so that I can eat something else besides the cafeteria food and ramen noodles. But once I got my first dog client, I was told that I love them more than the owners. I love to go on walks, cuddling, and making sure the owners know their dog is safe. I have always been an animal lover since I was little.

Sophia took great care of our almost 14 year old dog, Taz! She gave us frequent updates and lots of pictures! Taz was very happy to have her take care of him!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Sophia - kind, reliable, professional, caring, generous: she is all of these things but also so much more! I've recently gone from having someone at home all day with my pets to needing to leave them alone during weekdays while I'm at work. I was so anxious (especially because they can be very nervous around strangers), but Sophia met with me and completely eased my mind. Just a few short months later, they love and trust her unconditionally and really look forward to and enjoy her visits so much! It means the world to me that I can entrust them to someone as careful, loving, and patient as Sophia - she is absolutely brilliant!

I used to volunteer for the Humane Society so I know there are tons of different personalities with it comes to dogs. I've also encountered some not so friendly ones but that taught me a great deal of new skills. I love them no matter if they are small or large. I would like to know if the dog has certain allergies or triggers so that I can avoid any negative situations. Also, if there are some unfriendly dogs that I should be arrive of around the neighborhood. The most important thing I have learned is that you must make sure that the owner and dog are comfortable and safe.
A typical day
I will go on walks wherever it is safe and comfortable for the both of us. I love going to Starved Rock and that is a very friendly doggy area. I love taking adventures while caring a backpack full of treats for both of us. I have plenty of Wal-Mart and Jewel bags that I can reuse. Car rides are the best especially if we can jam out to 80's songs.
