I have always enjoyed the company of dogs starting from a young age. Even though I was not allowed to own one due to my step dad's allergies, I would often go to friends' houses to play with them. In high school, I used to help my friend take care of her dog, becoming as much of a loving parent as she was. Every time I see a dog in public, I am usually the first one they come running to.
