Pet care experience
I have had my own dogs since I was 5 years old, so I am intimately familiar with caring for pups (grooming, feeding, giving medications, walking, playing, training). I also spent almost all of high school volunteering at the Durham County Animal Shelter, where I walked all kinds of dogs and cared for cats (cleaning cages, socializing).

On walks, I always double check the collar or harness to make sure it’s fitted correctly. I have a leash-reactive dog myself, so I am comfortable redirecting or moving away from a situation that could escalate. When in your home, I ensure any directions given are followed to the best of my ability and double check everything is done correctly before I leave.

A typical day
I like to balance play and naps pretty evenly, but ultimately listen to the dog in what they want! If on a walk, I love to be in space where they’re free to explore their surroundings.

I am a college freshman, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting during the school year.
