Hi! My name is Sonya and I am a native Washingtonian. I work full time, but can work from home and have flexible hours. I really miss having animals in my life! I grew up with a dog and a cat, worked for a dog walking company, and have been house sitting and cat sitting for the past 6 months and looking to meet new families! I have experience with animals with diabetes, elderly dogs, and young. I will be in town for the holidays and happy to house your furry one or if you prefer, stay at your house. Sonya stayed with our older yellow lab for 5 nights and she was wonderful. She's reliable and communicative (very responsive to texts and sent lots of pictures), and obviously loves dogs. We didn't worry at all about our beloved pup while we were away, which is a such a gift.
Sonya has taken terrific care of our dog several times while we were out of town. She is always super responsive and notes all the little details. Our dog takes supplements every morning and needs special care and patience because of leg injuries, and we trust Sonya completely with her. She has stayed at our apartment overnight a few times, and always left it squeaky clean. And Ruby loves her! I would highly recommend Sonya if you need a dog sitter for any amount of time.
Sonya is our go-to person to take care of my 10 year old pit bull mix, Ruka. Ru can be tricky when we leave as she often has separation anxiety and Sonya is the absolute best with her, and accommodating to all of her needs. Ruka tore her ACL several years ago so she has specific mobility needs which Sonya absolutely understands given her life-long experience with her own families dogs, including as they enter old age. I would trust her with Ru anytime - she is the most responsible person out there. Highly recommend!
