Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Sonya and I hope to be your next pet sitter! My animal superpower is that I’m deaf. That means I’ve become great at using my other senses to read a situation. With pets, that helps me determine whether they’re happy and feeling comfortable, or feeling anxious and need additional support. Pet sitting helps me as much as it helps your pet. I love to be with animals and I find they calm me down and make me feel grounded and happy after work. I’m patient and loving, and I love showering dogs with attention. I can do dog baths and even do some training to teach your dog a few new tricks! I am kind, playful and sweet — qualities many dogs also have! I truly love dogs and have a special connection with them. In fact, I often talk to dogs like they’re humans! I am available Monday through Friday after 6 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday. In the evenings, I enjoy getting some fresh air on a walk or going for a run. And on the weekends, I love spending my time exploring the area during walks, hikes and adventures and would welcome your pet to accompany me!

Sonya is the most fantastic, reasonable dog sitter that has a lot of patience to comfort and to learn about the dog to get along in next few minutes after the first meet. She is very committed to feed, run or exercise with the dog every morning and night without any rush. I love the fact that she will always let me know about my dog by sending me a "dog selfie" from day to day which helps me to know my puppy is completely okay. She can be trusted!

I’m active and love to get out an explore. We would go for walks and runs or to the dog park. We even have a dog park nearby to explore. We’d also have lots of time to relax, watch that animal movie together and snuggle. In short, whatever your dog is interested in, I can accommodate!
