Pet care experience
AS OF NOV 2023: Meet & Greets are required and will be scheduled via a Drop-In Visit for 30 Minutes. The amount for the Meet & Greet will be used towards your stay if you decide to book with me, otherwise it is non-refundable. Thank you for understanding. If your dog needs constant care (only 1-2 hours break for me to go out), there will be an additional +$50/day charge. Otherwise, please understand I may be out 4-6 hours during the day to do errands. If you are scheduling me to care for your rabbits, the rate will be for dogs as I understand they need constant supervision. ----- I have taken care of various pets from fish, small animals, birds, cats and dogs. Most if not all of my pets are rescues. I care deeply about the well-being of animals and do my best to take care of them.

Sonya is truly the dream dog sitter! We’re grateful for her exceptional level of care and the trust we have in her. This was our 3rd time booking with Sonya, but the 1st time for such a long duration (13 days), and we didn’t have a single moment of worry. Here are some of Sonya’s top qualities: - She is proactive, organized, and professional. Additionally reliable, attentive, and friendly. - Daily updates on walks, food, and our pet’s overall wellbeing/health. - Daily set of pictures and videos, so we never feel like we’re missing out on our pet’s day while we’re away (& so time doesn’t feel as long without them!) - Sonya accepted our request to book over Christmas and NYE a few months ago, which made it easier for us to plan our travels in advance. - Before our last booking, Sonya suggested a meetup to introduce her dog, Oat, to ours, Curly. We had 2 doggie meetups and we all had a lovely time. Oat has been helping Curly socialize, learn good doggie manners, and adapt his play style. - Very knowledgeable about pets, especially dogs/bunnies. She always has useful tips and funny stories to share. It’s clear that she is passionate about animals and that her job is a perfect fit for her. - Sonya stayed at our place with her dog. She left everything clean and tidy, taking care of dishes, laundry, and vacuuming. And to top it all off, Sonya left us a thoughtful card along with a printed picture of Curly, and a Christmas gift for him. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Sonya 🥺

A typical day
I love playing with dogs with their toys: tug, fetch, you name it. I find it very fun to keep honing their repertoire of tricks. Practice makes perfect! I am very focused on providing them walks they like with guidance: letting them follow smells and take potty breaks when needed. If they have special places they like (lake, park, etc), we can go on an adventure! If cats got toys and love to play, I'm there. I'd be happy to help replace any cat scratchers that have refills available provided by you during my stay with your cat(s). If the cat loves to be petted, I am happy to obliged. If any small pets are requested to be taken care of, I can give them the outside time they need as long as you provide a designated and safe area for them. I am great at supervising.

I am a stay-at-home housewife looking for some work on the side. I am available almost any time of the day though will need to come home for a few hours to take care of my pets if house-sitting.
