Weekend pet caregiver!
Pet care experience
I have grown up with all kinds of pets such as kittens, puppies, and senior pets. Ive learned how to properly care for them and have recently rescued and fostered litters of kittens. I grew up having a family that breeds dogs and would teach me the basics of raising a puppy. As for senior pet care, I've helped family and friends babysit their pets while away on vacation, giving them any medicine and special care mentioned.

Sonjia has been surrounded her whole life by dogs and to be apart of Rover is a dream come true! There is no doubt in my mind she will strive in this field of work, especially with her loving and caring personality. Any dog she meets will be finding a new best-friend!
Sonjia is a true pet whisperer! Every animal we have loves Sonjia, for instance we have 4 cats and 2 are supposed to be mine but every cat in this house loves Sonjia. If she is home the cats are with her if she’s gone they wait in her room all day long until she gets home. Sonjia loves animals, we also have two dogs that love Sonjia, everywhere she is they want to be, she is so good with animals. We have had animals all of her life and she’s always been so gentle with them even at a young age. I think Sonjia would be the best pet sitter a family can have and they would be very lucky to have her. She would take care of them as if they were her own❤️

I am not offering pet care at my home due to having an apartment and two pets of my own. I will be able to go to client's houses and care for their pet in any way advised! On weekends I can stay there and keep pets company or simply stop in multiple times throughout the day to make sure they are fed/taken out. I will be sure to play with the pets and give them social time with toys and walks! I will be sure to give lots of attention and even update the owner with photos of how their pet is being cared for!

I would like to know if the dog has any special medications or feeding times. I would like to know the energy levels of the dog. Do they have any triggers that could possibly trigger aggression? Do they have any allergies?
A typical day
I will have lots planned for the dogs I watch! I will plan on taking them to any doggie park or nearby park where we can run off some energy and smell new things. I will be sure to give them loves of love and attention in the home and treats (if okay with pet owner!). I will make sure they get to play with their favorites toy and lots of time for fetch!

I currently have two cats who are under a year living with me. I am a full-time student Monday-Friday this fall semester. I will have weekends to help those who need pet care (occasionally Fridays after class if needed!).
