Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Sonja but everyone calls me Sunny! I am an Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary student at Umass Amherst going into my junior year! I have been walking dogs and pet sitting I was 10! I have worked at Hyannis Animal Hospital for the last two summer in medical boarding so I have lots of experience! I have been trained in restraint, and have experience doing a wide variety of administering medications would it be by pill, liquid, eyedrops or injection. I have done lots of volunteer work with a wide variety of animals, including some vet tech work. But most importantly, I love dogs, cats and all animals and am very passionate about giving them the care they deserve. I have a large backyard and I myself am an avid hiker, so I will make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise! I am free all summer, almost all weekends. Sonja is delightful and clearly loves both dogs and cats. She went above and beyond to take care of our pets. And she sent a map of where she walked our dog. She is studying to be a vet and has a lot of pet care experience. I am so happy we found her and hope she is available whenever we need a dog and cat carer.
My dogs are super active and Sonja had her hands full! We loved that they went swimming and got to stay with a family. They came home happy and healthy (and tired). Thank you!

A typical day
Going on hikes, around Santuit and Johns pond, and the other conservation areas we have in Mashpee. Playing with toys! Going to the dog park if that's something your dog enjoys!
