The humans of our doggie guests refer to us as “Doggie Spa” because of the TLC their critters get when they are here. We have cared for dogs of every kind on this land for 15 years and love doing it!

I adopted my almost 3 yr old Alaskan Husky in Feb 2024. I knew that I needed to find a place for him to stay for 6 days while I went to LA. I wanted a place for space where he could run with friends and not be confined!! I read about Sonya and wrote to her. I got a date to meet her and her 2 dogs plus a daycare dog and Bodie had a wonderful visit! Sonja loved him off the bat and said yes! His time with Sonya was wonderful! She posted videos to me everyday and I knew that he was with folks who really cared for him. One day, he even got to run at the beach. She had asked me if he could go and I told her that he loves the beach!! I now have a competent, full of life and love woman, to care for Bodie when I need someone. She is definitely a dog lover!!
Sonja is the best! Her beautiful place is not only dog paradise, but also a treat to see for two-legged parents as well. My dogs LOVE it there, and came home exhausted. Perfect for my long work days. She and Mike could not be better humans, so kind, loving, and very intelligent. I am so grateful that my fur-babies and I connected with them. Don't miss out on this rare "unicorn" opportunity. Sonja took excellent care of my dog Bailey who had the time of her life staying there. It truly is a paradise for dogs.
What a great experience! We have an 8 month old, high energy Labrador that is my husbands baby! Not so much mine, so when he has to leave her with me I panic. Trying to care for an 80 yr old frail mother and watch her is more than I can handle. Found Rover.com and Sonja and what a relief. She loved her like family, lots of room to run on the mountain. Sonja took her to the beach with her playful dog twice…wore her out! Yay! Sent lots of photos, some videos and kept in good contact. Picked Baylee up and she slept the 2 1/2 drive home! Will be coming back. Thank you Sonja!

Dogs must be cat friendly! Cats have several indoor and outdoor dog-free spaces but we love our cats so dogs must be nice to them! We have chickens in dog-proof enclosures
A typical day
Your dogs will be loved and cared for as our own. Craobh (Kreyou) has never seen a dog he did not like to play with and he will teach new dogs about doing laps in the two acre fenced pasture. Dogs can follow us around when we do farm chores and if they love ball or frisbee they will get their fill. Once they have had enough, they can rest and recover on one of the couches or countless dog beds we provide. Doggie spa!
