I have cared for animals my entire life. I treat each animal as an individual, and will not presume to know an animal until I actually do. I love the variety, individuality, fun, joy, calm and insight that an animal can bring to the world. I will not simply feed your pet and leave, I will spend time with them, get to know them and treat them as if they were one of my own family and will follow your instructions for the care of your pet(s) and your home to the letter. Through my years of experience working for animal rescue organizations and being a pet foster parent I have learned to deal with all kinds of pet personalities and issues. I am pet CPR and first aid trained and have experience with all ages, types, breeds and personalities. I have experience with all types of medical needs and medications, including giving fluids, pills, liquids, insulin and more. Sonia is always great with our kittehs. We have one that needs a pill twice daily. He takes it fine for us wrapped in a pill pocket but whenever someone else offers the same thing he’s a total jerk about it. She didn’t mind having to put the pill pocket in his mouth and kindly “force” him to eat it. Always appreciate her great communication and being so good with our babies!
Sonia took great care of our two cats while we were gone and was very responsive the whole time!

A typical day
I'm a big proponent of letting the animal lead me into the activity they'd like to do. So if your dog loves to be active we'll go for long walks and hikes. If they love to cuddle we'll find a snuggly place and chill out together. If they love to be challenged I have snuffle mats and puzzle feeders we can play with!
