Hi y’all, I have been around pets my whole life, and caring for them is second nature to me. They do so much for your mental health, and it would be an honor for me to watch over them for you. Looking after them would include loads of head and body pets, rubs, scratches, and, if they allow it, belly rubs! It would also involve taking them for walks, letting them go into the yard to take care of their business, cleaning their litter box (including the gunk that gets stuck to the bottom), playing with toys, and snuggling with them as much as they want. A bit about myself: I grew up with three cats and a dog. Currently, I have a 5 1/2-year-old black Bombay cat named Benjamin, whom I take on walks twice a day; he begs for them, wears a harness, and all. Four out of five of my siblings have dogs and cats, and I have often looked after them. I worked at a nonprofit in Austin for the past four years and am now working towards becoming a health coach. I've always wanted to have a side hustle, so what better time to start than now? If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I plan to meet with you prior to taking care of your dog or cat to ensure that I know where everything essential for their care is in your house and to discuss the procedures you'd like and your expectations! I will come with a notebook and write down every instruction, I like to be as detailed as possible so I know what your expectations are, the more specific you can be, the better than I can provide quality care for your baby.
