Pet care experience
I have experience caring for animals inside and outside of my home. Most of my experience with animals comes from tending to my Yorkie and German Shepherd and my 3 cats. Outside of my home I devote myself to rescuing dogs and cats which can entail fostering and intentionally re-homing pets. I work closely with veterinarians when I come across stray cats that may be injured or are eligible for neutering/spaying and if a dog needs medical attention. I advocate for the loving care of all animals and most importantly I am friendly to all pets I come to meet.

Sonia is whole heartedly an animal lover. Ive witnessed her care for animals for the past 6 years. She is overjoyed to watch and care for cats, dogs, turtles, fish, and birds. She is careful to details and goes out of her way to make any animal feel at home and safe. She is respectful and kind. Not only does she rescue pets she comes across at any time throughout her day but she also works close with people who need help with getting their pets veterinary care or need to be re-homed. I 100% recommend her for animal care.

I acknowledge and understand the importance of respecting someone's home and of first making a pet comfortable to allow them to warm up to me. I am responsible and weary of the importance of safety during walks and after walks, re-hydrating and ensuring doors are secured to avoid any chance of escape. I am a fast learner when accommodating any pet's special needs when it comes to feeding or pet-sitting.

Any information that will be helpful for me to meet your dog or cat and/or walk your dog will be helpful such as any common behaviors and their meanings, because all pets have different personalities just like us. Accommodating to their needs will be my priority to provide your pets an enjoyable experience.
A typical day
I will walk your dog around your neighborhood and give it a go with the tried-and-true, fetch the ball game or whatever their preference is. The walk will not only be great exercise for the body but also a good stimulation for their brain. I will give dogs and cats lots of cuddles (as they allow) and respect their space appropriately. I will make the experience of hanging out with me fun and light by going based off your dog's or cat's comfort level... and maybe even convincing them with some treats!!!

I am available weekdays: mornings, afternoons and evenings up until 6p. Occasionally Saturday. I am willing to work with you and find the best time possible for your pet.
