Pet care experience
I am overjoyed to be able to work doing my very favorite thing- taking care of pups! Full-time I am in grad school for mental health counseling and I find that working with animals is just as rewarding. I have been living with and caring for dogs my entire life. My mom and my next door neighbor ran a dog-sitting business together while I was growing up and I being around animals is the most natural thing in the world for me. I would love to be able to provide a fun and comfortable environment for your pet- be that a weekend away from their favorite person (you) or just a half hour of exercise. I can guarantee that your dog will be in the best possible care and have an amazing time. I can even provide training services for repeat customers.

Sonia is an amazing dog lover! Your dog would be lucky to get to spend time with her! She is gentle, kind, and responsible. She is also an experienced dog trainer and can reinforce trained behaviors. She also excels at handling big exuberant dogs and is great about making sure they get lots of walks and love. I can not recommend Sonia highly enough as a caring, loving, responsible caretaker. She is also a delightful person and is incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to work with.
Her genuine care and compassion for all animals sets her apart from the rest. Her gift of instantly bonding with pets is what sold it for my family to use her as our go-to pet sitter. She's very open to communicating with owners and I can do nothing but sing her praises.

A typical day
We can do walks, runs, or just lots of play time! I'm happy to take them on walks around the neighborhood or go on adventures to different trails. I spend a lot of time in forest hills park and on the james river trails with my own dog!

I am currently in grad school but have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. My days are spent doing homework or online class, so it is easy for me to accommodate different pet needs.
