Pet care experience
I've had over 5 years experience of dog walking, boarding and cat sitting whilst I was living abroad. I'm a huge animal lover and have the time and space to provide the care you need. The last dog I regularly looked after had extreme social anxiety and I was actively involved in helping with socialising and training with the owner. I have flexible availability everyday of the week and can offer regular walks, daycare and boarding. I like to make your pet feel at home in my home and make them feel safe and loved. I give pets as much attention as I can so the maximum number of dogs I can accept at any one time is 3 and in my experience its great for the dogs and gives them a chance to socialise under my supervision. My home is owned and child free. I do not currently own any pets. Pups can expect potty breaks every couple of hours or I can work with the schedule that suits their routine. I’m available for house calls if all you need is a walker (within Edgeley Stockport area SK3) I don’t always have access to a car so as long as its within 2 miles I’d happily come over at an arranged time any day of the week.
Reviews
Sonia is lovely with my dog and regularly shares pictures with her on walks and having cuddles.
Our dog absolutely loves going to Sonia's. Sonia provides great care and exercise for him and everything we ask for, to help him feel welcomed- which he absolutely does!
Sonia has been looking after Sammy for a couple of weeks now and he is very happy to go. Sonia really wants to offer him the best care and ensures he has everything he needs. Sammy has kidney desease and need to drink often. Sonia makes sure he has plenty of water available. Due to his age, he can be slow on his walks but Sonia follows his pace.
Sammy was calm and happy when I picked him up. Sonia was very attentive to his needs as a senior dog. I will take my dog again. Thank you

I have two rooms available for pets to roam around in as well as upstairs and access to the garden. I have a garden with a wall that’s over 5 feet high and I always supervise any time spent in the garden, we also have a camera on the garden that is set to record continuously. At home I usually work from my laptop and am home based. Pups are welcome on the sofa and I always make time for playtime with any of their favourite toys or some that I have spare so they always get the attention they need and are used to. I can take them for walks according to their schedule, I live in a quiet neighbourhood without much traffic so the streets around are great for short or long walks, there are two parks (Hollywood Park and Alexandra Park) close to me so that’s great in the mornings and the afternoons, let me know if your pup has specific needs when they are out. Ideally pets would sleep downstairs in their own beds where we also have cameras and ample space for them to relax. We do let pets in the bedroom but they will not be able to sleep on the bed. I will happily discuss this with you at a meeting or you can message me at anytime if you have concerns or questions. I have successfully completed some basic training exercises with younger dogs which has helped put some boundaries in place with where they sleep. With regards to cats, there is again ample space for them to be comfortable and safe, there aren't many cars driving around near my home. I do not have a cat flap.

Information Sonia M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any anxieties or disabilities. I live in a house with a steep staircase, this might be trickier for smaller dogs but I can carry pets where needed so please advise if this would be ok.
A typical day
A typical day would be a walk to Alex park in the morning and early afternoon where its quiet. There are plenty of opportunities for socialising if this is something you feel comfortable with otherwise there are plenty of walking routes in or out of the park where we can keep our distance. I would be happy to help with any training activities that you may already be practising.

Availability
I have a flexible schedule in terms of meet and greets as well so I can arrange to meet at my home or one of the local parks on any day of the week. My partner works from home on Mondays and Fridays which means its more convenient for me to do meetings at my home after 5pm on those days. If I show up as unavailable on my calendar it usually means I am booked up, I work on a first come first served basis, your pets comfort and welfare is my priority when I make arrangements.
