Pet care experience
I am lucky enough for my friends and family to have chosen me to care for their furry friends when they are away from home, some local, some further way. For many years I volunteered at Woodgreen Animal Shelter and Cats Protection helping care for their animal guests. I love walking outside in nature with my doggie friends, come rain or shine and having cuddles with cats and other animals when they decide its human time. I love the unique personality each animal has and seeing that grow as they become confident around me.

Sonia was brilliant with our rescue Sam. It takes him a bit of time to get used to new people so she came over a few times before we went away and he took to her very quickly. Communication excellent. We got daily updates about Sam and coco our naughty feeline. We came back to happy furry creatures and everything was calm. Thank you Sonia for looking after Sam and coco. We will rebook again for the summer.
This was the 1st walk with Sonia and everything went well no issues when I got home and a couple of chilled doggies. I’m confident my home sitting will go well in June!
Sonia was absolutely fantastic looking after our nervous rescue dog Melody. She spent lots of time with us before going away to build her trust. We got daily updates whilst we were away and Sonia really put our minds at ease! She’s friendly & trustworthy and I would highly recommend!

I feel its very important to follow your guidance for the care of your animals, (and your home) and ensuring consistency of the day such as rules, meal times, walks, medication times, etc. I am very confident in caring for a range of animals with differing needs and temperaments. I have worked with animals for over 20 years in a range of capacities including owner, carer, healer and animal communicator. I am qualified in Animal Healing (& teach this), Bach Flower Remedies for Animals and Animal Communication.

Having as much information about each animals temperament, routine (feeding/walking/together time), needs and "rules" I feel, ensures each animal is cared for in the best possible way and most importantly is totally in alignment with how they are living with their human companions.
A typical day
I love to make sure that all animals receive the care and attention they are used to and keep that continuity for them, so they feel as relaxed and safe, as if they are with their regular human companions.
