I have had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. I had a large Rhodesian Ridgeback for 13 years, my parents have 3 miniature dachshunds, a Yorkie, and a teacup Yorkie who I helped take care of until I recently moved across the country. My husband and I have a sweet 5 year old chiweenie and I help my neighbors with their sweet 2 year old husky.

I have an extra large fenced in backyard with more than enough space for both large and small dogs. My little one loves playing with other dogs her size but for larger dogs my neighbors husky would love to come over and play all day. I also have a large open living room with plenty of toys of all kinds as well as treats.

I have no breed preferences but I do prefer if the dog isn’t too large as I am not the strongest person. I love friendly dogs and energy does not bother me.
A typical day
On days where it is not raining we spend a lot of time outside. I put a lot of time into making sure my backyard is well taken care of to reduce risks of anything happening. There’s plenty of open space and very few small obstacles. I have some outdoor toys as well as a fun sprinkler loved by both dogs and my son. When it is raining I have more toys than any one dog needs so there’s more than enough to go around. We have plenty of space in our living room for multiple dogs and plenty of dog beds for anyone to lay in.

Availability
I am currently a stay at home mom of a 2 year old little boy and a 5 year old chiweenie. My husband and I absolutely love dogs and we “dognap” our neighbors husky almost daily for fun play dates. My son absolutely loves dogs and is very behaved and loves running around our backyard with them. I give both mine and my neighbors dogs plenty of love and treats and lots of playtime.
