Hi. I'm Sondra! I have extensive experience taking care of animals. As a child, I grew up with dogs and cats (and a few cage animals, such as mice, hampsters and fish). Over the past few years, we have opened up our home to a number of foster dogs and we currently have two of our own dogs, whom we love dearly. We have fostered dogs of all sizes, including pregnant, newborn, puppies, large dogs (primarily labs), small dogs, and senior dogs. At this time (due to our resident dogs) we are only able to board/sit small or medium sized dogs, but I will make an exception for large dogs if they are senior or very mellow and otherwise good with tiny dogs. We LOVE the added life our doggie visitors bring to our home and we will welcome yours as part of our family. During their stay, your pet can enjoy the run of our house and enjoy playing in our fully-fenced and secure grassy backyard. The dogs will rarely be left alone, as I am a stay at home mom to 3 animal-loving children (ranging in age from 3-12) who absolutely love to play with and love on our doggie visitors! We have two full time residents, Leo and Phoebe. Leo is an 18 pound, 1 year old cocker spaniel mix who warms up quickly to new doggy friends. And, Phoebe is a 6 month old toy poodle (6-7 pounds) who is just as social and loves the company of doggy friends. We will follow feeding, walking and any other special instructions required, and you can expect at least 1-2 photos/videos a day from your little one while you're away, so that you can make sure your love is perfectly happy and enjoying their stay! Day care hours for drop off are from 7:00-10:00am and pick up between 4-6pm. Additional time is $5/hour.
