Pet care experience
I have volunteered at the ASPACA during High School and College. I have 2 dogs of my own that I have raised since they were puppies. My elderly Cocker Spaniel, Isis (as in the Egyptian Godess), was incontinent w/ GI issues and dermatitis; Brave, our 2 year old Boston Terrier, which required at home rehab after being hit by a car and suffering spinal cord and hip injuries. I nursed her back to walking but she will always require special care for her incontinence and sphincter dysfunction. On top of that I have owned cats my entire life as well and am well versed in the "Catverse"! I love them as much as I love dogs. I have learned to individualize care, give medications and basic training as a pet owner and volunteer. I hope to bring my experiences to help other families when they have to leave their fur kids at home and to make sure they are comfortable with me as their sitter.

This was my first time using Rover and what a great experience. Soledad was in constant communication and met us the day prior to starting the week of service to meet the kids upon our arrival at Disney at Ft Wilderness. She kept in contact each day during their walks and snapped pix along the way. They received as much exercise as we did at the parks! Highly recommend her! Thx for making our trip less stressful in taking care of the kids midday!

My Calendar is only set to Drop-ins because my time with them is usually more than a walk! I love to interact and play with my clients and I often feed them their meals. We can take explore their neighborhood together and have some play and cuddle time at the end.
