The are many reasons to have a pet sitter to stay at the house, one is to be sure your pet is taken out to do their business. I was out of state and received a text at 7:14am that my dog would not go out. You would have to know my dog but she is very friendly and would go out for any reason, but the text indicated she would not go out. As I said I was out of state and my agenda included breakfast in the morning. I had to either stay for breakfast or go home and let my dog out. To stay for breakfast with travel time it would be about 4-5 hours or leave immediately and be home in 2 hours. I had to leave because she has not been out since the night before at 10pm, and I know it would be hard for her to not go out until around Noon - 1pm, I canceled my breakfast and went home.
