Pets are nature's warm fuzzies <3
Pet care experience
In my house growing up, we always had a dog and cats. At one time we had 2 dogs, 3 cats, a bunny, 2 birds, and a chinchilla. I learned what a good home for good pet looks like, but I also learned, THEY train US more than we realize. A "good" pet feels safe and trusts the human they're with. A "good boy/girl" doesn't pee inside, because a "good human" takes them out/cleans their litter. A "good boy/girl" feels relaxed at home, because a "good human" gives them the exercise and energy outlets they need during the day! Let me be your "good boy or girl's" "good human" while you're away :) Also, I believe it is important to note: I am a huge advocate for following any training-period rules you may be practicing with your pet. I know how important a consistent training method is, and would be happy to instill/support whatever habits the pet should be practicing. I am *very, super, extremely* AGAINST making a pet feel unsafe in any scolding practices.
Reviews
Solange was great and our dogs seem sheer happy!! She was great with the rooms, took them on hikes and left the house super clean!
Solange was amazing! Very responsive and kind to our pups!! We had her stay over a holiday and it worked out perfectly!! Completely trustworthy and thoughtful.

Safety, trust & environment
I have no pets of my own currently, so your home will remain your pet(s)'s sole domain without territory conflict. As for your home space, I'm a very honest, clean, non-smoking human with a lot of love and respect for other people's material belongings, privacy, and vow to honor any requests or considerations. My 3 highest moral values are integrity, respect, and care. I'm just here to become best friends with your pet(s), but the process of earning your trust simultaneously, is an extra bonus of warm fuzzies for me :)
Information Solange K. would like to know about your pet
Any triggers to know, would be fantastic to learn about beforehand. No detail or rare-habit is too small to share, honestly. I've known dogs to not like a specific body part touched, I've known territorial or dominate eating/playing habits, and I've had to make on-the-fly decisions for *off-character* responses. The latter, I have found, is only learned when they miss their families, or are uncomfortable with strangers/sitters (e.g. running away, hiding, not eating, etc). And any/all solutions to these are valid and encouraged to share!
A typical day
I have an active and exploratory nature, and if your dog is physically able, he/she will be treated to long or short walks/hikes and play time at local dog parks (depending on the social/anti-social advise given by owner, of course). For cats and kitties, I will follow the agreement you have for the feline - whether they're allowed to roam depending on time of day, or whatever it may be. But they're welcome to unlimited lap sits with teeny head scratches, if/when they ask for it.

Availability
I work 6-6.5hr days out of West Vail, Mon-Fri. I can easily take a midday break for pup bladders! Ideally, the commute would be no more than 10 miles away. The further the commute, the less time I can spend with them, of course, but happy to be flexible to meet your needs! However, the shorter work days make house-stays very fulfilling, while symbiotically making those quick midday pee breaks very easy/efficient!
