Mary Poppins, for your pets! ☂️
Pet care experience
Happy early Spring everyone! 💐 Spring flowers bring May showers - rest assured for any weather changes in your travel plans, I offer same day cancellation on all bookings. Growing up in an animal loving household, meant early mornings working at the family’s Doggy Daycare (formerly The Hound Hangout), and long afternoons caring for anything from cats to goats. Two years ago, I moved to Bremerton. During the move I was working as a registered medical assistant, and part-time certified yoga instructor. I’d taken a break from pet care, using this time raising my own rescue pup and her cat brother while returning to full-time school in a Registered Nurse program. This has given me only more insight with potty, behavioral, and trick training. As well as every other aspect of Doggy Life that goes into the day to day! And boy is it a lot… Which is why I am here to help! I would absolutely love to be that second or third set of hands in freeing up your schedule, while making sure that your best friend and family member stays happier than can be. By being a part of you pet’s care team, they become part of my fur family as well! And it is my job to care for them in the same way I would my own.
Reviews
Solace is always on time and leaves me detailed notes about how the visit went! Love her!
Solace was my back up sitter for a week and she was fantastic with my dog and was on time!! I will definitely use her again if I need a back up!
Solace is the best sitter ever! Great communication, lots of photos, took great care of our dogs and home. Our dogs are fairly anxious and Solace was able to make them feel safe and quickly. We will happily book again.
my girls love solace so much it’s such a relief to know she’s going to be coming by to take care of them on my long work days. the pictures and videos she sends make my day! i wish i had the money for her to come every day, just to make my doggy happy haha

Safety, trust & environment
In my client’s home I practice respect first and foremost. Even friendly pets have bad days, and even normal days have bad moments! I will always respect your pet’s needs and boundaries, and adapt to work around them.
Information Solace B. would like to know about your pet
When sending a request, it is extremely helpful to get a brief idea of any specific needs or quirks your pets may have. Including and reactive triggers, potty training troubles, whether they are crated, etc. If it’s too big of a hassle to write it all down, we can certainly call or schedule a meet and greet!
A typical day
I believe it’s important to start care within your pet’s boundaries. Anything that is already integrated into their schedule is where I will start (30 minute walks, monitored outdoor time, fetch, etc.) Once I have developed a trust and bond, I’m happy to discuss integrating new activities - including hiking, behavioral training, park trips, and puzzle training. For high energy/working breed dogs, I encourage booking longer walks to ensure that I am able to meet all their needs in that period of time. If that is not an option, I fully understand and am happy to discuss ways to make the most of the time!
