Pet care experience
Hi Everyone! ☀️ Details for specific service types are now at the bottom. I can’t wait to discuss all your pet care needs! I’m currently a Nursing Student (Tuesday/Thursday evenings), and also a dog/cat momma myself. Nezumi came into my life one year ago as an eight week old rescue from Mexico. I have gone through the puppy blues, the teenage angst, the “why is there pee all over the kitchen” days…and oh boy - it is a lot! Which is why I am here to help! I know how incredibly hard it can be to worry about your pups/cats while you’re at work, and it can seem like you’ll never take a vacation again. That doesn’t have to be the case! I have five years of professional experience with animals (goats, cats horses etc), and a lifetime of being raised with pets of all sizes. My summer school was my family’s doggy daycare, so “disgusting-dog-stuff” is basically my specialty! I’m very experienced with senior dogs: including speciality diets, medication (topical, eye drops, oral, injection, etc.), and mobility aid. Reactivity? Don’t even worry about it - you aren’t alone. I use force-free methods for all training (including desensitization) and have had no issues with 100+ pound dogs, all I ask is for a heads up beforehand. I am happy to work with your pup on leash manners and basic obedience during our walks and drop-ins as well!
Reviews
Solace is always on time and leaves me detailed notes about how the visit went! Love her!
Solace was my back up sitter for a week and she was fantastic with my dog and was on time!! I will definitely use her again if I need a back up!
Solace is the best sitter ever! Great communication, lots of photos, took great care of our dogs and home. Our dogs are fairly anxious and Solace was able to make them feel safe and quickly. We will happily book again.
my girls love solace so much it’s such a relief to know she’s going to be coming by to take care of them on my long work days. the pictures and videos she sends make my day! i wish i had the money for her to come every day, just to make my doggy happy haha

Information Solace B. would like to know about your pet
When sending a request, it is helpful to get a brief idea of any specific needs or quirks your pets may have. Including reactive triggers, potty training troubles, whether they are crated, etc. As well as what’re you’re looking for in a visit, do they need a walk? Meal time? Medication? If it’s too big of a hassle to write it all down, we can certainly call or schedule a meet and greet!
A typical day
Drop-Ins: For drop-in clients I offer a fifteen minute walk (optional), as well as indoor play. This always means different things for different dogs! For higher energy dogs this could be a whole lot of frisbee, for lower energy dogs this could be some comfort cuddles and couch time. I always give fresh water, and I’m happy to give pups their meals as needed. Dog Walking: Walking, walking, walking! I try my best to maximize the time outdoor for these pups. This means minimal indoor activities, but I do always get fresh water and let pups settle off for a few minutes when we get back. I am happy to work with dogs in all different stages of training! House-Sitting: For house-sitting, I maximize the amount of time I can spend in the client’s home. I set aside night-time hours from 10:00PM-7:00AM as “quiet time”. Meaning uninterrupted rest time for the pups/kitties. During the day, my schedule is often dependent on the drop-in bookings and class for that day. I currently have classes from 4:30PM-8:30PM Tuesdays and Thursdays. I do my best to match the current schedule that is set in the house (e.g walks after breakfast at 9:00AM, yard time at 12:00) and usually have some flexibility in my daytime schedule! Please reach out with your dates and I will go over specifics. Cat Jobs: I looove my cat time! For an average drop in for cats, usually the first thing is a little bit of bonding time. Every cat is very different, and for some cats this can take 10 seconds before they’re ready to play - and others it might be multiple days! The top three things for me are cleaning the litter box, getting them fresh water, and refilling food bowls. The rest will depend on what the kitto is up for!
