Pet care experience
I grew up with a large, energetic labradoodle and learned a lot from her. Since then I have regular dog walking gigs (as of May 2022), and I have been dogsitting for neighbors since I was a teenager. Before moving to LA I was a nanny for a year, so I am used to keeping in contact with parents and pet owners, following their rules, and caring for their loved ones. I have experience with a wide range of dogs, young to old, small to large, shy to friendly, and I love them all. I’ve been told a few times by dog owners that their dogs don’t usually like new people but their dogs “seem to have taken a liking to me!” Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and will not be able to accept any cat-sitting jobs, but if you have a dog or any other type of pet I would love to petsit for you!

Sol was able to meet with us before we booked her, after a few minutes talking I felt very comfortable with her. She did an excellent job walking my GSP Lio. She pick him up on time and sent a picture of him while they were on the walk. I definitely recommend her and rebook with her. ?

I am very attentive, I keep an eye on your dog and pay attention to what they’re trying to communicate so I can meet their needs. I give them the pets and belly rubs and playtime and leashed walks that they need. If given rules or a schedule on such things as feeding and potty breaks I will stick to it, and I am very respectful of boundaries when in a client’s home. In terms of covid safety, I am fully vaccinated and will always wear a mask when entering a client’s home or meeting in-person.

Let me know if your dogs have any special needs or if you have any guidelines for me. It would be helpful to hear about your dog’s personality and how they feel about other animals and people, things that might come up on a walk. I require meet-and-greets prior to the first scheduled appointment to ensure we are a good fit. Please note I will only work with dogs that are up-to-date on their vaccines and medications and are pest free.
A typical day
I’d love to play games with your dog, give them plenty of belly rubs, and take them on a walk to a nearby park or explore the city.
