Pet care experience
I am a very caring, friendly, and trustworthy person who has a passion for both animals and the outdoors. I have cared for, walked, watched, and visited with animals of all kinds for a good portion of my life. These animals include: dogs, cats, horses, and small pets. I volunteered at my local animal shelter for years, walked dogs for a small dog walking business, and still continue to take my friends and coworkers dogs out when they are tied up at work. I have a very flexible schedule working around my primary job and am willing to care for your dogs during a majority of the day making it so your schedule is my priority. North County San Diego is a great area for dogs to explore the great outdoors and I would love to take your pet out to do just that!

Awesome as usual!
Sofy is just wonderful. We were facing a tricky situation with our little puppy (also named Sophie!) who was healing up from a major surgery and on activity restriction. As soon as we met Sofy, we knew our pup would be in great hands. She came over early to go through some detailed care instructions and then stuck to our Sophie's funny, little routine (including hanging out on the driveway in the sunshine). Sofy sent us tons of photos, and we're pretty sure our dog had more fun than we did on this vacation. Would happily rebook.

I like to follow the schedule that is given to me from each client making it so your animal's routine doesn't change too much from what they are used to with their owners being around. I ensure that all gates are closed and latched preventing anyone from getting out and I am sure to guarantee that everything indoors is set up for safety as well. When walking your pets or bringing them on adventures I am very aware of our surroundings and safety. I will not approach other dogs without asking other owners if their dogs get along with others to ensure that your pet's safety is my top priority.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I should account for. Other than that, I like to know whether or not your dog gets along with others or if we should keep our distance from other dogs. I also love to know what their favorite treats, toys, and things to do are making it so they are comfortable while you are away.
A typical day
I love taking my friends and client's dogs on light hikes, to dog beaches, to the dog park, and even out to lunch along with me so they aren't left at home.

I currently work from home full-time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! This also makes it easy for me to be able to let them out, exercise, and give them all of the love whenever they want/need it!
