Pet care experience
I absolutely love animals, but since I live on campus, I'm not able to have any of my own this year. I would love to get some time walking and playing with your dogs! I have a 3-year old Husky mix, Juno, and a 3-year old cat, Burger King, at home. When I was in high school, I walked dogs in my neighborhood, volunteered for the SPCA, and was involved in equestrian activities. One of my jobs was teaching horseback riding lessons, so I have experience working with animals and children, giving me confidence in my animal interactions. I also have experience training dogs, as I trained my dog to walk on and off leash, to listen to basic commands, and to do lots of fun tricks! Friends often say my dog is the best behaved dog that they know.

Sofia did a great job with drop-in visits for my large cat who gets very grouchy due to separation anxiety. I appreciated her photography skills and her patience with my little monster. Highly recommend!

A typical day
I love taking dogs for long walks, hikes, and runs! I also love playing games and teaching them fun tricks. I'm also happy to just hang out with your dog if they need company during the workday. I like to take different routes every time I walk, so your dog and I will have plenty of fun things to explore. If you're comfortable with your dog being off-leash, we can also go to a park to play fetch and run around! I love finding new ways to keep dogs mentally engaged on walks.

Availability
This semester, I have availability: Saturday and Sunday - all day Monday - 1-2:45pm; 6-9pm Tuesday - before 11:45pm; 3pm-evening Wednesday - 1-2pm; 6-evening Thursday - 8-11:45pm; 3-evening Friday - 1:30pm-evening While I am a full-time student on an athletic team, my schedule is fairly flexible and I have time around my classes that I would love to fill with some dog-walking. I update my schedule every 2 weeks, so please check back in to see when I'm available!
