Pet care experience
Even in my earliest memories there's a dog as a member of my family. When I was 4, it was me, my parents, my brother, my sister and Pancho (a huge Irish Setter) living in a city apartment in Montevideo, Uruguay. Then we moved to a house on the beach and introduced Marilyn (a Chihuahua) to the equation. We had plenty of cats since then, and now we're down to 3 gorgeous ladies (Grace, Marlene and Coco). I became a vegetarian when I was 17 because of my love for all animals, and I'm proud to say for me it's not just a diet but a lifestyle.

Sofia and her girlfriend were fantastic sitters. I was in a panic when finding out all kennels were fully booked and all sitters unavailable, but luckily along came Sofia. They stayed in our home for the week whilst we were on holiday to look after Gatsby. Not only did they keep the house super clean (stripping bed and cleaning kitchen included) but they did a marvellous job of looking after our baby. We received daily undates and images of Gatsby running around the park and they were sweet enough to even buy him a blankey which he loves. We were happy, they were happy and Gatsby is certainly happy with his new friends!

Sofia agreed to take care of my dog for a day and everything went great. Mikey and I got to meet Sofia a day earlier to get to know each other and see her apartment/the area. Sofia replied very quickly to my messages and arranging the dates was very uncomplicated. She is very friendly and she and my dog became buddies immediately. I can absolutely recommend Sofia to anyone who needs a dog sitter.

There are several green areas around the neighbourhood, so if we're going for a short walk, I can pick a different one every day. If I have time and the weather is nice, I just grab my sketchbook and go to Westerpark or Erasmuspark, where the doggies always meet new friends :)

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours that I can account for. I'm constantly learning about different breeds and I have experience with all sorts of breeds and ages so that's not gonna be an issue ;)

Availability
Currently I'm living with two friends in Bos en Lommer. I'm a freelance designer and love the company while I'm working, either at home or at any of the pet friendly cafes around. I have plenty of extra room so, no matter the size, a dog will always have its place in my place. Mi casa es su casa.
