Pet care experience
My friends and family have relied on me to take of their pets when away or needed since I was 15 and I’ve always been eager to do so. I’ve pet sat, dogs, cats, bunnies and hamsters before.

I’ve never had a dog unfortunately:( although when I’ve taken care of others I’ll go on long walks with them, make sure they are fed, happy and given lots of love and attention while their owners are away. If you have a fenced in backyard I’ll still probably be out there with them just to be safe because you never know what can happen and I’ve normally done that in the past. I make sure every entrance and exit is always closed to prevent something from going wrong. Also I’m good with cleaning up, I’ve had dogs leave huge messes that I’ve walked into and won’t hesitate to make sure your house looks jus the way I found it.

I have no preference for dog breeds, I love and care for them all the same. I would like to know beforehand though how they are with other dogs and people, and how they react to social situations because I would like to take them to new exciting places where they could get lots of exercise
A typical day
There’s this place that’s close to me it’s called the round valley resevoir and depending on the dog and the owner’s wishes, I have taken some of the dogs I’ve walked there and let them sniff around and play in the water and they’ve always loved it. I wouldn’t take dogs that aren’t good with others there though, in that case around where I live there are very closed off and unattended streets that I can and have previously taken dogs on walks there as well.

Availability
As of right now, I’m not taking a lot of summer classes so other than my part time job, I’m free most of the week. I also don’t go far for college so I’ll be able to keep going even when school starts back up again. I only work about 4-5 days a week and even then, it’s mainly at night and I can always stop by after work as well. Very flexible schedule.
