Hello! I'm a filmmaker and visual artist who adores animals, specially doggies. Back home I had a Shi-Tzu, a German Shepherd, a bird, many fishes, turtles and a lovely cat, I've had pets my whole life Including two crazy Jack Russells and a Weimaraner :) Now that I moved to New York (since 8 years ago) I live by myself with no pets and I must confess that I miss having the lovely presence of an animal in my home, I would love to take care of them even if it's for short time! I'm really open to also take care of cats or any other pet you have (I used to have a Gecko as well lol) What can I say, I love animals in general!

This was my 2 dogs first stay with Sofia - she was very easy to work with on their somewhat tricky food, and sent me photos/updates everyday!
Sofia was so amazing! She was so attentive to our puppy and sent me lots of updates. I felt so good leaving my dog in her care for the day.
Sofia went above and beyond with Iota, who is suffering from separation anxiety. Sofia was flexible and worked around my schedule. She also asked questions and provided pics of my dog's day. I'd hire her again.
Dubu loved hanging out with Sofia. Sofia was very responsive and accommodating! I will definitely book with her again!

The pet is welcome to chill anywhere in my apartment, I don't have roommates so there's no rules, they can get on the couch or whatever area they feel comfortable. I'll be working from home so I'll be constantly making sure that they're happy and doing well.

Information Sofia P. would like to know about your pet
Well my favorite breeds are the Shih-Tzu and Corgis! But I don't really have a breed preference, to be honest I love them all equally. (It does have to be a small dog due the policy of my building.) I would like to know if the dog is laid-back or hyperactive? Is he/she house broken for indoors or to wait until we go outside? Does he/she shed a lot?
A typical day
There's a small pier park a block away from my apartment, so I can take a walk with the dog and chill at the park, Central Park is near my place as well so probably on the weekends we might walk there as well. Most likely I'll pet them every minute and give them hundreds of hugs, but I'll also give them their space if they need it of course.

I work from home, therefore my schedule is very flexible so I can always adapt for last minute reservations if needed. I'll be giving constant wonderful company to all pets!
