Pet care experience
I love animals! I have been fostering for 6+ years and through that I have seen a wide range of cats, even as small as a 120 gram baby kitten. My work for fostering kittens includes post-surgery care, medical care, sicknesses, behavioral monitoring and training for aggressiveness and timidness, and more. Sofia has a natural talent for cats and kittens! Our cat is skittish but she immediately warmed up to her. She took her responsibilities seriously and did a great job watching over our cat when we were gone. She is organized and that was helpful because our cat needed her medication given to her daily.
Sofia has dog-sat for us for a couple of years. She is detail-oriented and goes above and beyond to make sure our pups are receiving great care by sending us updates via texts and photos. She has experience with both dogs and cats, as she has a history of fostering multiple litters of kittens for many years. I feel like my pets are always in great hands when Sofia is caring for them

It's important to gain any animal's trust and knowing these details beforehand helps a lot in ensuring they are comfortable. Every animal is different and I appreciate details and preferences from the owner. I will respect and follow pet instructions down to every detail. I am not quite set up to have any other animals in my home right now but I am more than happy to come to you.

A typical day
I will explore the neighborhood with your dog as well as encourage new routes. In the home or yard, I love to play fetch if that's your dog's thing or tug-o-war. With cats, I like to encourage chasing toys or finding toys from a box. If your pet just want to chill and wants company, that works for me too.

Availability
I am super flexible! I am looking to spend about 3-4 days per week for cat and dog care and dog walks. I am available on weekends with advanced notice. Preferably looking for regular clients, but I am also free for infrequent services. Again, super flexible! I am sure we can work something out.
