I am a very experienced pet care professional and owner! I was a veterinary technician and am now a dog groomer. I also have had various species of my own pets and value proper care above all else.

After we relocated from a different state, Sophia cared for our two goldendoodles. She played and took care of their needs overnight at our house, while keeping us updated with lots of pictures. Sophia treated them as her own and we look forward using her in the future.
Sofia was great! She was happy to hang out at our house with our puppy for the day and even brought her own puppy along to play after checking with us that that was okay (they were the same age!). She also took care of our cats.. She works in a vet office and clearly loves and is very comfortable with animals. Thanks, Sofia!
Sofia was amazing! She managed to convince my grumpy old man to let her give him his medicine, which is something that I frequently struggle with. She looked after the kitties so well, and was so understanding and flexible with my travel needs. Will 100% rebook anytime I travel that she's available.
Sofie is great with my pup Charlie! He’s usually pretty iffy when it comes to meeting new people but the two of them became instant BFFs! Charlie absolutely adores her!

I’m happy to work with special needs dogs or dogs who need medication. I’ve been trained in giving oral, topical, and injected medication. Please let me know about your pets special needs ahead of time. For extended visits I prefer to bring my dog, a one year old golden doodle. He’s great with cats and dogs!
A typical day
I love to take the dogs I watch on hikes with me and to local parks and trails! Some of my favorites are the Thatcher Park trail and The Crossings park in Colonie!

I work as a dog groomer so pets that are more flexible around my schedule work best! Any pets that can be on their own for a few hours and then enjoy some pets and walks!
