Pet care experience
Hi!! My name is Sofia :) I have been pet sitting for the past 7 years and I absolutely love it!!!!!! I've had 2 dogs named Rusty (Golden retriever) and Toby (Dachshund & Jack Russel mix) that I completely loved and adored. I've also had up to 4 hamsters and 5 fish, including my fish I currently have named Pepperoni! Growing up with them as well as caring for my many many other pets, I have great knowledge in pet care and behavior. I also used to attend camp at, as well as volunteered for, the Kentucky Humane Society in Louisville, Kentucky, where I learned about pet behavior, administering medicine, potty training, behavior training, and grooming. I am an athlete so I am very active and will walk your dog for as long as wanted and can handle large dogs! I have been and always will be an animal lover and I can't wait to get to know your adorable friends!

Absolutely 100% would recommend. She took great care of the dogs while I was overseas for two weeks. Completely trustworthy and responsible. The only problem is I am back and I am not sure the dogs are entirely happy about it, I think Barney likes her better!
Sofia did a fabulous job caring for our Indy for four days! He is a large almost two year old German Shepherd 'puppy' who is friendly yet a bit of a handful with his size and energy. We came home to a dog who obviously was played with a lot! I would absolutely recommend Sofia. She communicated well and really hit it off with the initial meet. Indy was very comfortable with her.

Your pets safety, love, and care is my #1 priority!! I am very good at sending updates and pictures throughout the day and will not hesitant to communicate when needed. I have taken care of many houses and pets and I am more than happy to share the contacts of those who I have worked for in the past :) I have had repeated visits for many pets I've cared for and can assure that your pet will be taken care of as if they were my own!!
Information Sofia M. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know as much as possible so I can take the best care of your pet :) Some important things I would like to know ahead of time is if your pet has any medications they need to take and if there is a specific schedule that they need to be taken as well as specific ways the medication should be administered/given. I would also like to know if your pet has any issues with going potty and/or they need help with potty training. I'd also like to know if your pet has any mobility issues that they may need help with (Issues walking, jumping, eating, etc.). Also if there is a specific route that you take your pet on a walk then I am happy to do the same as well and if there are any dogs in the neighborhood that your dog may not get along with that I can try to avoid. I would also like to know if your pet as any behavioral issues as well as any behavioral training I can help continue. Lastly, if there is a certain way you prepare your pets food then I would like to know how to do so :).
A typical day
I love being active so playing and going on lots of walks! I love playing with all pets and then snuggling with them and giving them lots of love afterwards!! I have experience in making toys and treats so if their owner is okay with it, I'll make them lots of goodies! :)

Availability
I am currently a college student at Oberlin College, but my schedule is very flexible! I am available as early as needed before 8:30am everyday and I am completely free every night after 7pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and then after 12pm on Mondays and Fridays! There are many gaps in my schedule between 9am to 7pm where I can come to walk and feed pets for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours, and I'm flexible to changing times during weekdays :). All of my weekends are very open and flexible. Since I am on campus and live with roommates, I unfortunately cannot bring pets into my home but I do have a car so I am able to travel anywhere needed! Taking care of your pet will always be my top priority and will be in amazing hands! :)
