Pet care experience
I have been taking care of cats and dogs since I was 11. I trained my puppy when I was a kid and have almost always had a cat or kitten in my life. I have experience working with dogs and cats of all sizes and varying needs -- this includes but is not limited to: administering oral and topical medicine, ear cleaning and drops, specialized bathing for sensitive skin, walks and varying play styles. I absolutely adore animals. My cat, Maisy, brings so much joy into my life. I know the stress that can come with leaving your pet in the care of someone else. I work to minimize that and assure you that your pet is loved, comfortable, happy, and safe!

Absolutely wonderful and every way!! I highly recommend Sophia is excellent! She was on time, gave me daily updates a couple times a day, included pics of the outings that she took Luna on. And she took Luna on outings, which was a bonus wonderful thing.! She gave me complete peace of mind to enjoy my vacation, knowing that Luna was having a great vacation with her new favorite friend, Sophia. Thank you again, Patty and Luna.

Sofía was great! She was quick to communicate and sent a lot of pictures. My cat warmed up to her super quick, which doesn’t happen very often. And she left the house super clean, which was so nice to come back to. Thanks Sofía!
Sofía was great! We came home to a happy dog and a clean house. She gave us updates when asked and was communicative/ responsive the whole time we were away.

I have worked with multiple neighbors and friends who have trusted me to stay in their homes with their pets or come in during the day to provide food, play, walks, and just love and company. I like to send photos everyday (unless requested otherwise) so you can see their furry faces while you are away. I take the trust given to be in your home very seriously, and I know that our pets appreciate being in their familiar environments while you are away.

A typical day
I love to go to different parks around my neighborhood and find different parks in your area so dogs have new places and smells to explore. Along with walks, I think play time and hugs are super important so they feel loved and cared for. The same is for cats! I provide plenty of play time, pets (if they like them), and brushing. I like to just sit and hang out with cats so they get used to my presence.

Availability
I currently do contract work from home and work part-time during the week. I am very available to be present for your pets, whether that's walking, dropping-in, or staying with them all day/night. My flexible schedule allows me to be anywhere during the day. I am able to provide most hands-on care during the morning, daytime, and late evening and night check-ins.
