I'm an experienced dog sitter who has looked after all kinds of dogs, as well as had my own dog. I have attended a number of dog courses and I have always loved dogs and animals since I was a child. This text is in English because I lived in England for 22,5 years and I did a lot of dog sitting through Rover there. I recently moved back home to Sweden with my family, but I am Swedish and speak Swedish and so does my family. We live rurally in Bokenäs and our house is surrounded by woods and nature with lots of lovely walks for your dog. Before joining Rover - I looked after a lot of dogs for friends and family and we love having them around. I also grew up with our dog, Skorpan (an Icelandic Sheepdog), who was an integral part of our family for 15 years. She inspired me to read and learn a lot about dogs, as I wanted to understand her, communicate with her and train her in the best way possible. I believe in positive reinforcement and know how important it is to be consistent, so I always do my best to follow your way of looking after your dog, including using the same commands. My favourite Dog Behaviourist is Sarah Whitehead and I've read a number of her books and attended her two-day practical canine handling and training course in person. I live with my husband Sam, who also grew up with dogs and who loves them as much as I do and our 5-year-old daughter who is very kind, careful and gentle with dogs and all animals (you can see them both in some of the photos). My mum lives in the house next door and she has two cats, but they tend to keep themselves to themselves. It is very important to me that your dog is good with children and well behaved. I'm often available on short notice. If possible, I would prefer it if your dog is not on a raw meat diet.
