I have experience dog sitting for a month twice so my family and friends could go on vacation abroad and for my coworker for a week! I walked, played with, fed, and made their dogs feel comfortable. Sofia was so great! She communicates immediately which makes things easy to book and know everything is running on schedule. She was on time, sent confirmations, even took and sent pictures of my happy guy getting belly rubs and treats. Sofia is a gem!
Sofia was extremely accommodating, I got news a family member had passed. I was in an immediate scramble to book a sitter in a day to leave town on short notice. Sofia was extremely responsive, flexible on pick up/drop off, super kind, and just a joy of a person. I’d highly recommend her as a sitter.
Sofia took care of Mocha when she was 6 months old and did an excellent job. Mocha came back happy and did not seem to learn any bad behaviors. She was extremely attentive for Mocha's needs for going out on walks, playing, and feeding her. She sent pictures and videos which helped alleviate my stress as a nervous parent. Sofia was also very flexible when my flight was delayed and I was a bit later than my expected pick up time.
I cannot stress enough how incredible Sofia is as a dog sitter! She has taken care of Beignet on numerous occasions, and I couldn't be happier with her services. Sofia is one of the most caring and trustworthy individuals I know, and she treats Beignet like her own. In fact, many of my friends joke that Sofia is Beignet's second mommy. Whenever she watches him, I can rest assured that he is in the best hands possible. Recently, Sofia dog sat and house sat for us for five whole days while we were out of town for a wedding, and it was a fantastic experience. Beignet had the time of his life! Sofia took him to all his favorite spots, including the office and Duboce Park, and really gave him the attention he's been craving since our human baby arrived. It's evident that she truly cares for him and understands his needs. We were so thankful that Sofia was able to care for Beignet and that we didn't have to leave him in a kennel (he's not really a "dog's dog"). Sofia made sure to ask detailed questions about Beignet's daily routine and how we like to keep our home before we left. Having the piece of mind that Beignet was in trusted hands really allowed me to enjoy my time away. As an anxious and neurotic pet parent, having someone like Sofia around is a huge relief. She has a way of easing my worries and making me feel confident that Beignet is well taken care of. Her attention to detail is impeccable, as she left our home spotless after her stay. Words cannot express how much Beignet adores Sofia. Whenever he sees her, he literally cries with joy, and that speaks volumes about the love and care she gives him. To summarize, Sofia is an exceptional dog sitter and an amazing person. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter and/or house sitter. She is a true gem, and I am forever grateful for the love and care she provides to Beignet.
